A sense of perspective...

Things got a little emotional at the weekly Open Fundraising managers meeting last Monday. Tim told us all the story of his friend DD who was diagnosed with a brain tumour. A few weeks ago DD was told he only has a few weeks to live. He is 15 years old.

We wanted to help. A simple and obvious way we can do this is to make it as easy as possible for parents to access the information they need to check for symptoms in their own child. So we’ve created a simple mobile site that includes all the information a parent needs to know.

Text SMART to 81400 and we will send you a link to the site. Or visit the HeadSmart web site.

What I’d love you to do is spread the word. Tell your friends and please, please promote the text number and HeadSmart link in your social networks.

Maybe just copy and paste the following into your Facebook status?

If you have a child then you need to know that brain tumours kill more kids than meningitis – and you need to be able to spot the symptoms. Visit the website or text SMART to 81400 for free to get the guide.

Then share this.

Thanks.
