If you don't look good on a mobile you don't exist...

This?

This is my face when I get to a donation form that doesn't work on a mobile.

What follows is a brilliant presentation from Beate Sørum, it's all about maximising conversion from online donation forms. It's essential reading.

If you ever get the chance to see Beate speak, take it. She's brilliant.

Mobile Website Optimisation tips

I'm starting to get over obsessed (if that's possible) by mobile site design. It's a small screen, people are on the move, we need to think in a different way to get the most out of the opportunity.

I found some great tips from Google on mobile website optimisation. From buttons, to content to white space.

Long and detailed but really good stuff.

Part 1: Mobile Website Optimisation - 5 Considerations when Prioritising Content.

Part 2: Mobile Website Optimisation - How Effective Use of White Space Can Improve the Mobile Website Experience.

Part 3: Mobile website optimisation - 7 considerations when designing buttons on mobile websites - Google Mobile Ads Blog.

Usability rocks

Today I'm reading this fabulous presentation from this years IOF conference.

Creative totally rocks, but usability seems to rock harder.

I was taught to look at fundraising performance from every angle until you’re clear on the variables that have the biggest impact on money raised.

Then focus on improving in those areas and don’t get distracted.
