Stopped in my tracks. A brilliant Save the Children video

I'm supposed to be getting ready for a presentation this afternoon, but finding this video on Twitter stopped me in my tracks.



Based on the One Second Every Day app, it tells the story of a girl living in a fictional London with a Syrian style conflict taking place around her. The time lapse makes it punchy and very effective.

A friend made the point that it's a shame that a white English girl is need to make people sit up and pay attention. Which in my opinion is more of a reflection on our society than Save the Children, but in this case I think it makes the point really well and really powerfully.
